Made With Love by Mary Mystery Revealed

I completed the last step of the Made with Love by Mary Mystery.  It's a quilt called Buckeye Beauty.  The pattern is by Judy Hopkins and is a free mystery pattern that you can get at:
http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/feathered-star-productions-inc/Web02.pdf  Remember, this quilt was an experiment in low volume fabric scraps.  I like the way they look in the picture.  The border is kinda a fluke; it's growing on me.  I cut this fabric over a year ago for the black/white/grey swap.  BUT I cut it the wrong size and it has been sitting in my bin in a little roll for a while.  I would have used it for the black/white fabric in Easy Street, but didn't realize it was there.  That's good, because it worked out great for the border.  Here's Buckeye Beauty in low volume scraps:

Now that I have a couple of bins empty (Made with Love by Mary mystery quilt, Terry's Treasures Sew Along, Easy Street.  I just might start something new in April.  The Brick Raod Sew Along with Sunflower Quilts looks like it could be a scrap buster.  I might have to use up some stray scraps for it.  Check it out:

I hope I get to see some other examples of the mystery quilt because I'm guessing yours will be the stand out. I really really love the fabrics you used for this--there's enough contrast and it's still so subtle and soft-looking. Brava!!

Ps. The big purple quilt, Wild Pansy, that I posted a couple weeks ago was also made from Buckeye Beauty Blocks--could two quilts look more different?
