FNSI Challenge

For the FNSI (Friday Night Sew In) I plan to work on piecing my Easy Street blocks that are finally complete!  I still can't believe that I am this far at piecing this quilt.  I can't say that it is one of my favoarites (yet).  It's a lot of pieces.  I need to do the math.  But I do know that I am tired of moving the heavy bin of the large pieces and all the fabrics that I pulled for the quilt around from place to place to get to my strip die cutters.  So Friday nights's the night that I hope this puppy gets put together into one big top.  Wish me luck!

Here's a recipe I'd like to try for Easter:

BROWNIE REFRIGERATOR CAKE

Ingredients:
1 box brownie mix
1 extra large egg
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
... 1 cup powdered sugar
2 (8 oz.) containers whipped topping
1 (3 oz.) package instant chocolate pudding
1 (3 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding
3 1/2 cups milk
1 Hershey candy bar or chocolate syrup

Directions: Mix brownie mixes according to directions. Add egg. Bake in brownie pan. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 container whipped topping. Put this mix on top of the cooled brownies. Blend puddings and milk together and put on top of the cream cheese mixture. Top with another layer of whipped topping. Put chocolate shavings or chocolate syrup on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I wish you luck in piecing Easy Street! I completed mine in January and got it quilted in February. I just love it, but it was an awful lot of work!

Your Easy Street is pretty! Hope you get good sewing time tomorrow night to get it assembled. I'm jealous of it. :)
