RSC19 -- Yellow

First up this week I made some yellow 9-patch blocks (3.5") for parts of my February Block Lotto blocks.

They turned in to these Alt-9-patches (6.5"):

My go to leader/ender block is a 4-patch made with 1.5" squares.  Since 1.5" squares are the last size that I keep as scraps (besides strings), I tend to make a lot of them.  I LOVE 2.5" scrap projects!

February Block Lotto

I did not have any "big" finishes today.  I did finish all nine of my blocks for the February Block Lotto.  These are called Alternating 9-patch blocks (Alt-9P).  The sample quilt that Sophie posted about on the Block Lotto site made with winning blocks is stunning.

WIP Wednesday 2.13.19

I didn't get my usual productive sewing in this week.  Here's where I'm at...

My sewing area right now is lined up to make Block Lotto blocks for February.

I'm also set up to make Temperature QA blocks for Monday, Tuesday and today.

I'm happy to say I have been keeping up with the Temperature QA nicely.  Here's the rest of February.

I got to show off my Good Fortune quilt top at Bonnie Hunter's linky party.  I just love this pic.

I showed off the blocks that I won from the Block Lotto.  I'm pretty sure I'm just going to sew them together like this and make a quick crib quilt for a gift I'll need soon.

This is how far I have stitched on my Sew-to-Go project.  I subbed in the elementary school this week.  It's busy, busy.  Didn't get any stitches done during this week yet!

I was glad I had all those brown string blocks made earlier this month.  I made four blocks for the RSC19 Sand Castles quilt.  This is also a Bonnie Hunter pattern.

Good Fortune Linky Monday

It's time to show off those Good Fortune quilts!  The link-up is on Bonnie's blog.  You can find it here.

Here's my Good Fortune quilt TOP.  It is not complete yet.  It's too cold in the longarm room to quilt it.  I do love the snow.  It make for a great photo of this beautiful design by Bonnie Hunter.

Block Lotto December Scrappy Stars

The scrappy stars that I won in the Block Lotto are all home.  What fun it is to open happy mail and find these gorgeous blocks.  I love all the different scrappy fabrics in blues and purples.  Who knew there were so many beautiful purples?

Slow Sunday Stitching 2.10.19

I made some progress on my slow stitching project this week.  I stopped working on the January clue (which I started mid month.)  I moved on to the February clue of the borders because I have a feeling all of the following months will go in or around this border.

It doesn't look like alot, but that border above was several hours worth of work.  I'm still a newbie to cross stitch.  My stitches are not perfect, but I surely enjoy the process and the learning process!

It went with me from class to bowling to class.  It was a relaxing week.

I'm linking up with Kathy at Kathy's Quilts  for Slow Sunday Stitching.  Come check out the fun.
