WIP Wednesday 1.9.19

I'm considering myself a quilting rock star this week.  I got a lot done!

I made nine cute log cabin style blocks for the January Block Lotto.  I love these colors!!!

I have now put together three rows of the Bonnie Hunter 2018 Mystery quilt, Good Fortune.

I have STARTED another project this week.  This will be an RSC19 on-going project.  I just can't resist jumping on the string band wagon with everyone.  I sorted my brown fabrics yesterday.  Everything less than 3.5" wide is in this tote.  I will be using these strings to make sand castle blocks.  Sand Castles is a quilt in Bonnie Hunter's latest book.  I have tons of 4-patches already made.  I'll just need strings, the color of the month blocks, and some random 4-patches.  It will be fun. :)

I have been keeping up daily on the Temperature quilt along.  I'm so happy that I picked the kite block as my daily block.  I am LOVING the colors I chose as well.  I took the time to organize everything on new year's eve.  This is making things so much more fun for me.

I completed more four more Box Kite blocks this week.  This is a Bonnie Hunter pattern.

I saw this yesterday on Instagram.  I had a gypsy wife quilt in progress in 2017 and it is still on my list.  I'm going to try to make a few more blocks now and then since.  I have it organized.  The thing I do not like about the book is that it does not give finished and unfished sizes in the book...just a size.  I'll revisit that.  If I remember, it's finished size.  You're welcomed to come join the fun!

My first finish of 2019 is my ruler purse.  I can take that one off the list.  I love how it snaps shut!

I added a few more stitches to my cross stitch project in my sew-to-go bag at bowling.

Our son has been active at a basketball performance group called Jumpsters and Hoopsters.

Wow, you are really jumping between projects and that WIP list. I thought I had many... I love the log cabin blocks. Totally focused on those at the moment. The colors are great. Good luck with the lottery.
