Snow storm!!! It's a holiday weekend that I plan to wear my TV pants and stitch.
This week when I took my stitching with me to school, I ended up at a little bakery/café near the school. Isn't this a cute little place to stitch? The air was filled with fresh baked brownie aroma. Students go there and work for about 60 minutes. I finished this apple tree.
I also found a new FREE cross stitch sampler on a Facebook group. It's called Linen and Threads - Mystery Sampler SAL. The website for the free patterns each month is here. January starts off with a beautiful peacock. The pattern is provided. You pick the colors.
I gathered all my supplies from my stash. Even my favorite oval hoop was available for a new project. BUT I realized that I didn't have a piece of 14 Count Aida that was 23" x 23". I'll have to check my other supplies in the quilt room. Now where did I store all those??? I know I have one up there. ...to be continued.
I'm linking up with Kathy at Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching. Come check out the fun.
