Slow Sunday Stitching

I'm now working on the branches on the left side of the block!  Hopefully I'll get to add the crow on top this week.  I'm enjoying the process.  I'm adding a few more leaves than the pattern suggests. I'm still glad this is a primitive project.

I am drawn to willow tree designs. We had a willow tree in the front yard for a few years when I was a child. Got cut down because the roots were growing into the clay water pipes and breaking them.
