WIP Wednesday 2.4.15

Not a lot of production here this week due to the illness and loss of my mother-in-law.  She was a very talented seamstress.  I hope to take pictures of her sewing room and share, but I don't know what to expect.  I get to see her sewing room for the first time today.

Here's what little I manages to accomplish this week:

I have a finish that is very, very close.  I allowed myself to start another scrappy charity quilt.  I got these 16 blocks done for the QM Bitty Blocks QA.  I wish I would have read the post on Quilty Pleasures before I started cutting and sewing these uglies.  There was a lot of good information on that page.  But I'm trying to somehow use up those uglies!  You can read more about the QA here.

I got all of the blue/neutral HST's finished for my Scrap Crystals quilt (pattern in More Adventures with Leaders & Enders by Bonnie Hunter.)  I have started putting together the 4-patch units of them with the January month of Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC15).  Blue was the color for January.



I got 2/3 of the quilting done on a customer's Scrappy Churn Dash quilt on my longarm.  Deadline for her stack of quilts is this fall.  She will be giving the five quilts as Christmas gifts.  I hope to have them done by April.



For the All People Quilt's UFO Challenge, the number for February is 7.  That means that I need to dig out my Tall Fly blocks that I won in the February, 2013 Block Lotto and make that UFO into a quilt.  I have an idea that's been spinning in my head.  I just need to get it started.  You can read more about the challenge here.   Here's the Tall Fly blocks that I'm talking about:
