I had time to read some blog posts yesterday. I came across one of my regular blogs Joyful Quilter. Joy posted about a cute table topper she made for TWO challenges. I just happened to find this bag of fun neutrals while looking for my novelty Thanksgiving fabrics for the back of my Gobble Gobble quilt.

WIP Wednesday 11.10.21
More quilty stuff happened this week.
I finished the Happy Little Accident quilt. It was made from leftover blocks from the Block Lotto. It measures a cute 31" x 41".
I set a goal a few weeks back to make a house block for the Cabins by the Lake quilt that is on my long WIP list. I really wanted to started something new, but I refrained. Now I have four house blocks complete. Here's the first row put together. I wasn't sure how I felt about the color combos when I first started making them. I think the black sashing and the green cornerstones are pulling it all together.
I now stand at 49 projects on my WIP list.

Turkey Tuesday! -- Gobble Gobble
I'm excited I got all of the Gobble Gobble quilt top completed today. I put all the scrappy blues together this weekend, added a red inner border to tie it all together, and found this great dotted fabric in my blue fabrics bin! Score on this border fabric. I think it's perfect for it.

Gobble Gobble Progress and RSC21
I made some progress on putting my Gobble Gobble quilt together this week. I worked on this quilt during the yellow month, orange month, and the light/bright blue month. Now it's time to get it together. It's still not a useable size for our family as a living room throw. We're all taller than 5'8" now. I will continue with more borders. I went a little out of my comfort zone with the scrappy sashing, but I really like it. I have three bins of blue, but I'm running out of this color family of blues.

House Day
I again met my goal of making one house a week for the Cabins by the Lake quilt (from Fons & Porter). Here's house #4:
A little progress each week is starting to add up -- especially since these blocks are 15" finished.
