I turned my bright 9-patch blocks into a little crib quilt.
I think the yellow makes the red pop. Moving another item from the list to the next step.
And just for fun, here's some pictures of wet chickens just enjoying being outside.
Their run is so muddy. They get out into the grass for supervised free-range time.

I agree the yellow makes the red pop! The chickens look cold. Do they not mind the cold weather?
The red and yellow look very nice together. I'm surprised the chickens aren't running around in snow! We've had at least 6" since Sunday morning but then it is lake effect from Lake Michigan. Happy stitching!
I have always had an affection for nine patches and the fabrics you chose are perfection! I just adore seeing your chickens, Kathy. They are so pretty. I sure do miss my sweet hens. Thank you for sharing photos of them. Hugs and Blessings.
