WIP Wednesday 10.6.21

I made a lot quilty progress this week.  I didn't realize it until I started writing this post.  I have been setting a little bit of time each morning for sewing.

Here's my completed Bricks & Stepping Stones quilt.  This pattern is designed by Bonnie Hunter.  It is available as a free pattern on her blog here.  Make sure to check out her free patterns tab!  Thank you, Bonnie, for all of the quilty goodness you share with us!

I finished putting together the blocks for my Veggie Patch quilt.  This is a Katie Mae Quilts design.  It was also one of my RSC (Rainbow Scrap Challenge) projects.  I made it my OMG (one main goal) for October to finish this quilt.  The back is already made.  Woot woot!

I

I again got out one of my existing projects (Pumpkins & the Beanstalk by Fig Tree & Co.).  Playing with this quilt felt like a fun thing to do for fall.  I had some orange scraps left over from the RSC for September.  This will nicely lead in to using lime green scraps for the RSC for October.  BONUS!

I made the pumpkin centers.

Here's a smaller version I completed of this quilt for a baby shower back in November of 2018.  The current quilt in progress with the blocks above will have one more row.

I loaded my friend's quilt onto the longarm for some quilting.  I am quilting it using the Circle Lord giant template board called Stars & Swirls.  I am not using the stars.  I am just using the swirls.  Then I am going to attempt to re-roll it back and quilt free-hand loops like I did on my Bricks & Stepping Stones quilt that I finished last week.  (Tooting my own horn that another quilt is off the list.)

I now stand at 50 projects on my WIP list.

Kathy, great finishes and great quilting. So glad you have found a rhythmn that works for you. I need to do that. I was out of town with grandkids and on their schedule and feeding, so now I need to get back in the saddle. Thanks for sharing!
