I am so excited that I finished the Veggie Patch Quilt today. It was my one main goal (OMG) to finish this quilt in October.
The Veggie Patch quilt is a design by Katie Mae Quilts. With the additional border I added, it measures 75" x 85". It was definitely out of my comfort zone to use a scrappy brown background. I love how it turned out with the scrappy bright colors against the scrappy browns. I quilted it with the help of my Circle Lord giant template board called Swirls. I LOVE the red binding. LOVE LOVE LOVE this quilt! The backing is all one fabric.

Now I'm off to do the happy dance, catch up on some blog reading and probably magnet fish with our son.

Love, love the finish! The colors glow in it against the brown. I probably would have been hesitant to use it also. Great finish!
Love your quilt!
Done AND bound?!? Congratulations on your (delicious) OMG finish, Kathy!!
Fabulous finish! Hooray for OMG complete! I, for one, love brown in a quilt! It’s perfect here!

Fabulous scrappy quilt. Great job!
Happy Dance AWAY! I love this quilt. The dirt background is such a great way to show off all the vegetables in the quilt. How cool to have them all as square patches of color! And I love how the swirls of quilting give it a good finish!

This is such an inviting quilt, especially with the mix of browns in the background. And I love the brown border next to the red binding!
