Judy at Patchwork Times announced today that #7 is the UFO Challenge number for January. My #7 is Pat Sloan's, I Love to Make Quilts Sampler Solstice Challenge.
I'm excited to start the year with a quilt that is already in one piece! This is Pat Sloan's Solstice Challenge quilt. You can see the details on Pat Sloan's blog, here. This challenge lasted 182 days. I chose the red and white color scheme. I finished this quilt top on June 9, 2017. This quilt needs a back made and to be quilted and bound.
This is my OMG (one main goal) quilt for January, 2019. I am linking up to Elm Street Quilts here. As a triple bonus, RED is the color of the month for the RSC19! Hopefully this week I'll have time to pull out some red and white orphan blocks and make a scrappy back.

I love the quilt! I've been itching to start a red and white quilt.
It really is great and I know it will be wonderful once it's quilted and bound.
Love the red and white! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
I keep thinking I would like to make a red and white quilt--seeing yours makes me REALLY want to make one. It is beautiful. Hope you get lots of sewing time this month and meet your goal.
