Row 4 of Victoriana Quilt Designs Fabric Party

Today we finally received the instructions of row four of the Victoriana Quilt Designs Fabric Party.  Here's my four rows together:

Totally exhausted from two days in a row at our local mini water park.  My four-year old son had an absolute BLAST!  Maybe tomorrow I'll get a little caught up on my Summer Sampler Series.  Can you believe that I am SIX blocks behind?  I'm also two and a half rows behind on the Rockin' Robin.  We'll see what tomorrow brings.  I am scheduled to work both jobs tomorrow.  Oh well.  I'll get caught up after school starts.  Summer with my son will never come again at this age.  Oh I love this age!  So much fun.

Bluepatch Quilter Mystery Quilt Progress

I'm all caught up on the Bluepatch Quilter Mystery Quilt.  Whew,  plaiting was cool!  I may have to actually do that for a border!  My quilts always seem to have to be bigger than what the person suggesting the pattern has it.  Here's this week's blocks:
Here's everything:

I'm guessing we're about half way done or a little more.  I'm sure Sheila has a better way of putting this together!

Woohoo!  A second block was made today.  I'm all caught up on the We Can Do It Skill Builder Sampler.  Here's block #6 -- Bow Ties:
Here's all six blocks so far.  I'm glad I have this picture for reference to see what colors I need in the next few blocks.  I'm very happy with my color selections right now!

Love this block for the We Can Do It Skill Builder Sampler quiltalong.  I did modify the center to showcase another owl.  No sunshine today for a photo :(

Jungle Babies Interactive Baby Quilt

Today was an exciting day.  I finally finished the Jungle Babies Quilt that I started over a month ago.  I think my niece will be happy.  Here it is:                     (See bottom of this post for zucchini casserole recipe!)
This is the insteractive back.  There are little things that a baby would like such as little loops for toys.

Here's the only part I'm not sure of, but at this point it's staying.  It's a monkey tail.

Gotta love a link-a-do holder.
 Here's an interesting giraffe tail.
The front is made from panels I purchased at JoAnn Fabrics.  It was supposed to be a book.  You can read the front of the quilt like a book.

All ready to go to Saturday's baby shower.  Can't wait to see it with Camden on it!

WIP Wednesday #36

Even though we went camping for six days I still managed to keep up on a few things... I took things to cut while camping.  I actually cut out two quilts that I will make for charity (baby quilts) using the Sunflower Seeds pattern that I did previously--such a great jelly roll quilt!  When I got home I magaged to sew a few blocks for my quiltalong obligations.

For the Summer Sampler Series I am all up to date.  Here are blocks 3 and 4:
This monochromatic color scheme is really maroons.  The picture shows the stripes a little lighter than what it really looks.

Here's block 4 for the We Can Do It Skill Builder Challenge:
I only did one block for the 36 Block Quiltalong with Crazy Mom Quilts.  I'm not sure if I will continue this quiltalong due to time restraints.

I need to get my priorities straight.  I need to finish row 2 of the Rocking Robin quiltalong.  Row 3 came out this week and I haven't even started.

My niece's baby shower is 7/30.  I really need to concentrate on the Jungle Babies quilt, but I just can't bring myself to get motivated to do it.

Here's my stats:
