Layer Cake Lattice in pink -- This is a new project. I started it last week, 4/4/26. I wanted to use some pink scraps to play along with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I have two 30-gallon totes of pink scraps. Eight blocks are made. This quilt will be as big as I can go until the background fabric runs out. I didn't have 1.5 yards of it like the pattern suggested for the original sized blocks.
I purchased this pattern for the unlimited scrappy combinations and possibilities. The blocks are supposed to be cut from 10" pieces. My fabrics are just "chunks of stuff". I altered the block size just a smidge to make it more Accuquilt friendly. In the future I might cut some of my scraps into 10" pieces so that I can use the actual pattern measurements. Once cut, the blocks go together lickety split because there are no seams to match on the blocks! Woohoo. I'm not used to working with pieces this large.

Two 30 gallon totes of pink scraps!!! Wow! Great pattern
What a fun quilt design! You're going to end up with a pretty pink scrappy quilt!
That's a nice design, and you have gallons of pink scraps to play with.
These blocks are as cute as a button. Love the pinks with the combination of polka dots.
That is a lot of pink, Kathy! You will be seeing pink all over! :) Pretty blocks and quilt design.
Such a lot of pink waiting to be made into a beautiful quilt! I like your pattern and how you modified it to better fit your needs. I love that there aren't a bunch of seams to match!
This pattern looks like a good one for scrappy quilts with a variety of background fabrics, happy stitching!
