Tree of Life Quilt Is Complete

I took this pic Wednesday night after finishing it at school.  I had to find a shady spot to get a snow pic.  Earlier this week the temperature was 7 degrees with a feels-like temp of negative 2 degrees.  

I'm not that thrilled with the arrangement of the blocks, but I do LOVE the block quilting on this one.  I thought it was fitting to get a nice pic of it the snow.  Yesterday it got up to 50 degrees with lots of rain.  Bring on the soupy driveway mud...  I backed it with a solid piece of blue gingham.

Tree of Life measures 41.5" square.

I'm linking up at Angela's blog, SoScrappy, for the RSC25 here. This was one of my RSC projects.  I had planned to make this quilt larger, but was unhappy with the color combos and decided to make it a 4-block quilt.  I may make a red tree quilt someday.  Three of these trees hung pinned to my curtain by my sewing machine for a very long time.  That's where I keep tricky blocks so that I can refer to it when I put a block together.  My new block I put there might be another RSC project (a fish). Stay tuned...
