TWO RSC Projects Moved Forward This Week!

I finally finished putting together my Garden Party quilt top.  I am going to sew a 2.5" constant red strip around the end to make the longarmer (me) happy.  Then that strip will be trimmed so that it doesn't take over the quilt.  Garden Party is a Bonnie Hunter design.

I also moved my Go 4 It quilt along.  It is my new leader/ender project now that Garden Party is complete.  I love it that other blogging friends are also doing the same design.  It's a fun scrap project.  I'm using 1.5" squares (2.5" 4-patches) that I put together in previous RSC months like crazy.

The pattern for Go 4 It can be found in the magazine, American Patchwork & Quilting, April 2015.

I'm linking up with Angela's blog, SoScrappy for the RSC20.

  1. Both quilts involve so much work and pieces, but they are truly beautiful and I love all the different fabrics put together.

  7. Love your Garden Party! Wasn't it fun to piece? (Looking at yours makes me want to make another one!)
Though I might be able to sidetrack myself with Go 4 It... That one looks like fun, too.

  8. Wow! Go 4 It is amazing. I have one 1/2 done set on the diagonal like that. It’s difficult for me for some reason. I guess, now that we have no pets and all the littles have moved away...I could lay it on the family room floor and just leave it there til it’s done! 😀
