For the quiltalong, check out all the details on Kevin the Quilter's Blog.
I moved this project along this week by making a pink Soul Searching block. The Soul Searching pattern is in a book called Making Quilts with Kathy Doughty of Material Obsession. I was lucky enough to get a copy of this book at our local library!
I'm linking up with Angela at SoScrappy for the RSC19. Check out all of the creative links today at RSC19 -- Scrap Happy Saturday.
I'm up early. Hoping that Angela posts the LINK PARTY before I have to out to Sew/Craft Friends-zy today. Wish YOU were going with me! I think we would have a TON of fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI like your Soul Searching block, and thanks for the info on the pattern; I've been looking for it for ages! Great that you've been cutting up your scraps and using them!
ReplyDeletepink is good color for the mystery. I can't decide. I liked making the soul searching block and quilt yours is pretty.
ReplyDeleteGreat job using scraps.... The soul searching blocks is looking great in pink!.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've made a bunch of 4 patches there! Sounds so handy to have that Accuquilt cutter to whip through your scraps!
ReplyDeleteKevin's quilt is going to look great in pink! All of your four patches look great so far. Love the log cabins, too.
ReplyDeleteI have that book and have Soul Searching bookmarked to make. I may have to go looking for it now.
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely pink goodness from you today. I made my Soul Searching blocks as leader and ender sewing last year. So easy if all the pieces are cut and waiting at the side of the sewing machine. I did one colour at a time, in between projects. I liken l&e sewing to getting something for nothing!
ReplyDeleteLots of pretty pink there.
ReplyDeleteAn Accuquilt has been my wish list for several years. The accurate cutting of many pieces would be a great Help! Your 4-patches look great!
