Scrap Happy Saturday -- GREEN!!!

GREEN is one of my favorite colors!  I have lots of green scraps.  I was happy to dig into them today and make some Owl's Well That Ends Well blocks.  It's from the book Quilts for Scrap Lovers by Judy Gauthier. 

The owl blocks in the book are larger.  I adjusted so that the neutral squares are 3.5" (unfinished) vs. 5.5".  My completed block is 12.5" unfinished.  I like to adapt things so that I can use my Accuquilt dies.  All pieces in my owl are Accuquilt cut. :)

    Great blocks! I have the book, but haven't been brave enough to try anything from it yet. Such awesome scrappy owls!

    I love to shrink quilt blocks!! Your GREEN owls turned out great. Have fun working through MORE of those scraps as the days MARCH past!
