I only got a few plus blocks made today. But I put a huge dent into cutting neutrals into 2.5" strips. That will speed up the process in the future. I haven't worked on plus blocks since February of 2016. Happy to move this WIP forward.
I'm doing the APQS "UFO Challenge" this year to try to knock down that stack a bit.
Just about a year ago I finished a plus sign pillow - here http://quiltbabe8.blogspot.com/2015/01/back-to-real-life.html is a bad picture of it. Getting them to interlock was a pain, but once I had it correctly on the design wall, it got easier.

You and I were on the same wavelength. I was working with neutrals, too. You win!! I only managed the pressing.
