I'm using the colors Bonnie Hunter recommended for the quilt this year. The only difference is that my "grey" could be considered closer to sea foam green. But when I look at it from a distance it is light grey. Here's my cute little 2" (to finish 1.5" in the quilt) HST units:
The process went quickly for me. I already had a supply of 2" HST cut. (I'm an Accuquilt girl!) The fun part about my neutrals is that I only had enough fabric for ONE piece in the whole quilt on some of the fabrics! Now that's using my scraps wisely!
I do admit that I had some help... Spaghettio face and all. :) He loves to help cut the units apart.

ReplyDeleteAww...what a sweet helper! how fortunate you are...sometimes my adult Son helps me with math..your little cuties are so pretty..my gray is a warm one..some taupe in it.

ReplyDeleteWish I had a good little helper! Also my first ever mystery quilt. Although I did see you have a section on chickens and was happily sidetracked for a while (also have chickens but only 4 now - smaller garden!)
