Classic Meets Modern QA - April

The block for April for the Classic Meets Modern QA is the Double Z Block.  I guess the thing that I am doing to make my blocks "modern" is to use the print background and jewel toned solids.  Here's my modern version:

    I think your color combination also pushes your block toward modern. I love purple and orange together--and it looks especially good here.
