RSC26 -- Blue Fish

I made a couple of fish blocks with blue scraps this week.  I'm planning on this to be a 12-block crib quilt.

I'm linking up for at Oh Scrap! Quilting is more fun than Housework.

The background of the fish really reads more blue than green in person.  I bought this pattern during a Black Friday sale at Cluck Cluck Sew.

I'm linking up at Angela's blog, SoScrappy, for the RSC26 here.

I pulled out some navy blues and neutrals for a NEW project!  I will probably also use these fabrics for a a mystery quilt from Scrapdash that looks like a great way to use scraps.

I'll root through some more neutrals.  I'm still looking for a couple of light shirtings with stripes in it and some neutral with subtle dots.

American Patchwork and Quilting put out a pretty tempting quilt along that starts 1/15/2026.  It's called True Blue.  You can get the details here.  This is one of my new projects.

My second new project is called Zip It.  It is a sew-along with Emma Jean Jensen.  I found it in a facebook group here.  It started 1/2/26.  I'll be using dark blue and a grey for my constant.

Check back next week for progress on that.

  1. The Zip it quilt is lovely! Have fun with the quilt along. It is so hard to avoid joining new projects each new year, but watching others helps me to avoid the fear of missing out. I get to enjoy the project by watching you.
