Catching Some Rays

I'm happy that all of the flower blocks for the Catching Some Rays quilt are finished.  I was experimenting with EPP and it was a little addicting.  Next step is to form these into blocks with their vases, assemble, and quilt.  I'm not sure what backing I will use yet.

The original pattern in McCall's Quilting, January/February, 2013 issue, suggests applique.  The EPP was a way of making it my own.

I really like these flowers, so cute. What a great alternative to applique.
